Description
Become a Certified Nurse Aide in a Long Term Care Facility (CNA). Develop the skills necessary to care competently for the geriatric client. Upon successful completion of the 90-hour course (50 hours classroom and 40 hours clinical), you will be eligible to take the New Jersey State Nurse Aide in Long Term Care Facility Exam. You will be required to purchase a textbook, complete a physical and attend each session. There will be a per hour fee for any make-up time and students can be absent no more than two classes. According to the New Jersey Department of Health, CNA candidates do not need a high school diploma to become licensed.
Prerequisites: Criminal background check.
Admission requirements: complete physical examination including flu vaccine and covid-19 vaccine, purchase uniform/ book and attend orientation.
