    This class will prepare students to become phlebotomy technicians. Topics include: the healthcare delivery system, collection of materials and equipment, venipuncture and capillary techniques, and medical/ legal/ethical implications of blood collection. Practices will include CDC recommendations for proper training and use of personal protective equipment PPE to protect the student from Covid-19. Textbook not included in cost of course.
