    This 660-hour apprenticeship program focuses on set- up and operations of a variety of machine tools, fitting and assembling parts to fabricate or repair machine tools and maintaining industrial machines. Students will apply knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout and machine procedures. Dismantling machines or equipment, using hand tools or power tools to examine parts for defect or to remove defective parts will be covered. Students will learn how to weld parts, using arc or gas welding equipment, repair or replace faulty writing, switches, or relays. This is a four-year program.     This 315-hour apprenticeship program focuses on operations in sewage treatment, sludge processing, and disposal equipment in wastewater treatment to control flow and processing of sewage. Topics that will be covered include: monitoring control panels, adjusting valves and gates manually or by remote control to regulate sewage flow, observing variation in operating conditions and interpreting meter and gauge readings, and test results to determine load requirements, starting and stopping pumps, engines, and generators to control flow of raw sewage through filtering, settling, aeration and sludge digestion processes.
