    Become a Certified Nurse Aide in a Long Term Care Facility (CNA). Develop the skills necessary to care competently for the predominately geriatric client. Upon successful completion of the 90-hour course (50 hours classroom and 40 hours clinical), you will be eligible to take the New Jersey State Nurse Aide in Long Term Care Facility Exam. Meridian will provide you with your textbook and physical. You will be required to pay for your, uniform, and certification.     If you are certified CNA with an active license from New Jersey and want to become a CHHA, then take the conversion class. The conversion course focuses on personal care services in the home setting, cultural diversity, and foundations for a safe client environment, nutrition, housekeeping, concepts of home care and caring for the aged ill client. In addition, the CNA will learn how to administer care to hospice clients and their families in their home.     The Cosmetology and Hairstyling Program is offered to high school graduates. For the past five years, the students have a 100% pass rate for passing the New Jersey State Board of Cosmetology Theory and Practical Exams. This course meets the 1,000-hours requirement to take the licensing examination given by the State Board of Hairstyling and Cosmetology. Uniforms and state license fees are not included in the tuition.
